Pricing and setup questions
A building means one physical structure with its own BMS installation or BMS zone-controller set. A three-building campus on one Metasys server counts as three. One high-rise with one BMS installation counts as one, regardless of floors.
Monitor and Optimize are billed monthly, with no minimum contract. Portfolio starts with a 12-month initial term and then renews annually. Annual prepay at a discount is available for Monitor and Optimize.
All plans have a 30-day onboarding period. It covers BMS connection setup, zone data checks, and setpoint write-back validation. Optimize and Portfolio include a dedicated onboarding engineer. Monitor includes structured self-service docs and email support.
For BMS platforms with native cloud or REST API exposure, no on-premises software is required. For BACnet or Modbus LAN environments, DomeSystems supplies a lightweight gateway agent. It runs on an on-premises VM or server you control, needs no BMS vendor software licenses, and communicates outbound only over TLS 1.3.
DomeSystems starts collecting data on the connection day. Confident setpoint recommendations generally require 7 to 14 days of observation. Anomaly detection and scheduling analysis begin within the first 48 hours. The first actionable alert usually arrives within the first week.
Yes. Data collected during Monitor carries forward after an upgrade. Optimize then activates setpoint control and schedule automation without a new connection or re-onboarding. The upgrade begins with the next billing cycle.
